Up for bid is a large lot of various gold plated computer pins for gold recovery. The majority of these pins are from ribbon cable connectors which vary in gold thickness and gold color. While plucking these pins I came across a few connectors that didn't appear to have any gold on them and I just threw those ones away. A few very lightly plated pins may have made it into the batch along with a couple brass ones but they are few and far between. These pins came entirely from computer components. This is the remnants of about 58 computer towers and 2 servers. Many of the systems were vintage models with great looking pins while others were newer with your standard looking pins. Around 25% of these are pins that were cut from high grade green fiber boards that have much more gold on them than the ribbon connector pins. Some of these pins ... moreare entirely plated.
