Marshall Studio 15 (4001) Amp Twin 6V6 tubes - RARE Only 500 Made! 8 OHM BIN OBO
THIS IS A RELISTING DUE TO A NON-PAYING BIDDER. For sale is a Marshall 4001 Studio 15. 15W 1x12" combo- Serial No. T24833. I bought this amp from the original owner in the early 1990s and have owned it ever since. These are rarely offered on Ebay or elsewhere. It was in production from 1985 up to 1992. This is the only Marshall amp ever to use 6V6 output tubes(twin tubes) and the first to be fitted with a Celestion G12 Vintage 30 speaker. No more than 500 of these were built and they are coveted today for their tone and growl. Comes with gain, treble, middle, bass, and output level knobs and power and standby switches on the front, and balanced direct out, speaker, headphone, and line out jacks on the back. The amp was advertised in the manual with a built-in attenuator, but it's not really an attenuator in the modern sense- it's ... morean arrangement where the speaker cable is on a jack and you can plug the speaker into the head phone jack at lower wattage if you want. This amp is in excellent condition(cosmetically it's an 8 or 9 out of 10) and all original except for the gain. Treble, mid, and bass pots that I replaced a few months ago because they were getting scratchy. After installation I noticed that at certain times and/or certain levels there is a slight buzz from a couple of the nuts on the treble and mid pots- they probably just need to be secured more tightly to the faceplate, but I've decided not to take it apart again. My neighbor has been playing this amp and said he didn't hear any buzzing so maybe it was a temporary issue. I have the original pots and will include them if you want to try to clean them and reinstall them. Very few cosmetic blemishes, no huge gouges/chunks missing, no big tears in the outer covering- just a few light scratches on the faceplate, wear at the corners, tiny nicks here and there, a small abrasion along the lower edge of the back of the unit, and a little dust that some fine cleaning can fix(I gave it a good cleaning) The grillcloth and faceplate are in

This SWR Workingmans combo has got to be the best amp i've owned. I can't use it anymore due to arthritis anyway. This amp is highly rated in perfomance, great warm low ends and very powerful. It has a 15" speaker with a horn/tweeter that can be turned of or on with a switch in front. For the amount of power it's not too big and not too heavy and it has 2 wheels for tilt back and roll. The only cosmetic damage is from basic use and some of the felt on the back needs to be reglued. Also it has been only used a little recently after 5 years of being idle so some contact cleaner may be needed. Overall this a great amp in pretty good condition. Bid with confidence

Trace elliot 715x combo bass amp amplifier 15 inch woofer used 500 watts
Used but works great. 500 watts. Has wheels which I added. Original rubber feet removed and no longer available. Somewhat heavy at about 70 pounds give or take. Sounds really good and plenty loud on its own. I used on one gig and it preformed great. It has that great Trace elliot sound. Made in USA. Bought second hand locally. Only issue with it is the previous owner had installed a handle on the top which I removed and put the trace elliot badge over the holes. Also was some velcro on the top which I removed but you can see the residual marks/glue from it. Did not try and use chemicals to remove it for fear of damaging the top. Its minor but I wanted to mention. You can see it in the pix. Comes with a Trace Elliot cover. But has a hole in the top the previous owner cut for the additional removed handle. Here's a smaller JiveBomber with BIG sound. It's a heavenly marriage of a FilmoSound amp with an old Ampro cabinet containing a superb Jensen P12MC AlNiCo speaker. The amplifier features 2 new Russian military-grade 6V6GT output tubes for 15 watts. It has a 5Y3GT rectifier. 2 x 12AX7 preamp and a 12AY7 phase splitter. It's a handwired, point-to-point design that has been fully recap'd and re-resistored where necessary. A grounded power cord gives it safe and quiet operation. The loudspeaker came to me in an old Ampro film projector sound cabinet, and has an excellent Jensen PM12C 8 ohm AlNiCo speaker, which is similar in construction to a P12N(cylindrical AlNiCo magnet) It's an unabashed blues or hard rock amp. And it is LOUD. 15 watts loud, which is plenty of dB for a small club or stage un-miked. Tone control is provided ... moreby concentric bass and treble controls, and a volume pot. Most of the integrated optical sensing tube and circuitry were removed for noise-free operation. Optical circuitry that couldn't be removed was shielded. The cabinet shows its age. I painted it using Rhinohide. But there are scuffs and scrapes on the edges. Aside from the amplifier itself, the best feature is the loudspeaker, which is incredibly good. Plug in to the amp through a reverb and tremolo pedal set, and you've got a thousand-dollar blues amp, with authentic vintage vibe. You won't be sorry if you buy this amp. this auction is for local pickup only. i live near seattle in kirkland. Washington. here's a vintage acoustic bass combo amp from about 1980(late's 70's or early 80's) it's model number B60. this is a really basic amp, it's 60 watts with a 15" speaker in a sealed cabinet. it has a volume, bass, mid and treble controls. on the back there's a 1/4" extension speaker output and a 1/4" line out. the 15" speaker is an eminence with the white dust cap, it looks like the same speaker they put in their more expensive amps. this amp is in great shape for it's age. electronically it works perfectly. cosmetically there's a few nicks in the tolex and someone scratched an ID number on the front panel that i show in the pictures. it looks like the amp belonged to a school or some other institution ... moreat one time. the dimensions of the amp are 22 1/2" tall x 18 1/2" wide x 16" deep. i'm guessing the weight at about 70 pounds. local pickup only, i live about a 1/2 mile from downtown kirkland, USA bidders only, pay with paypal. please look at my other auctions, i'm selling a bunch of stuff, thanks.

For sale is this vintage 1960s JBL D130 15" vintage guitar amplifier speaker. This 15" James B. Lansing Inc. speaker is in good 100% original condition and features the original cone with the original corresponding dust cap. It displays some sort of sticky residue on the back of the frame. It sounds as if there is a voicecoil issue, and there is a small tear near the edge of the cone. I am offering this speaker in non-working/as-is condition, in need of a proper re-cone. Clearly, it does not function, and it will require a re-cone prior to installation. The speaker frame is in excellent shape, and it has not been abused nor improperly stored. This is a handmade clone based on a Matchless Lightning amplifier. I used the ori ginal design and took i t in a slightly different direction by adding a power scal ing feature(yes the correct fee was paid to Mr. O'Connor for you London Power aficionados) so you can crank it and keep the volume manageable for your basic home studio(ak a the second bedroom) Even an original Vox AC15. On which Matchless based their Lightning. Was a very loud little amp when turned up and this has more gain on t ap than t he original Vox circuit. Everyt hing e lse about the circuit is based on the Ligh tning though. It is an EL84 powered amp and the Vox y character that you a ssociate with those a mps is here. The chimey cleans and the overdriven Brian May from Queen sort of tones too. If you're tired of the sort of Marshall meets Boogie distortion that ... moreyou seem to he ar e verywhere these days. You might look here. I t i s wired completely point to point. This wa s a one off p roject based on a vintage E L84 output transformer I had found. I used carbon comp resistors and high end capacitors(I can add a"gut shot" a t a l ater time so you can inspect the work. The ma jor c omp anies do not build them this way anymore. Only boutique amp compani es do this sor t of work. I build these on the side as a hobby but have been doing it so long I have to let so me go. As you can see from the pics I built this tubes up in a black powder coated chassis. I like the sort of high end hi fi look and have b uilt lots o f amps in this format and used them in my studio that way(and sold some to others to use like this) but I have known people to cab amps in this style chassis as well. I can provid e the contact info for my favorite cab guys on request. So if you love the idea of a Matchless amp.
