MOTOROLA HPN3000A POWER SUPPLY These are lovely! Manufactured by Motorola and designed to have run Motorola HF base stations. These are linear(so not switch mode) heavy duty power supplies. The output is actually quoted as 14.1V. There is a lot of data on the internet about adding a 5.6K resistor across R7 to bring that down to 13.8V, at upto 20A. Cosmetically they are a bit rough. The cases are not the best and need a bit of TLC, but they are very nicely made using quality Motorola components, easy to work on- the lid comes off by removing 4 screws, and although used, functionally in our opinion because of the quality of the components used will happily give many more years of service, thus offering a high spec PSU at a fraction of the usual price for something like this.
