I spent several days testing this machine as well as trying all of the various combination of stitches available. This zig zag machine will sew straight or zig zag stitches from the left. Center or right needle positions. Operating the machine is very easy and all of the controls have been cleaned and oiled and move freely. You can make buttonholes. Proudly presented today is this beautiful Hopi Kachina doll. Depicting Talavai, the Dawn Singer. In former times, the Dawn Singer acted as a town crier, and led ceremonies to the mesa edge at dawn. Presently his most often seen at the Powamu(which is the version presented here, or at Mixed Kachina dances, standing to the side, holding a small Blue Spruce tree, ringing a small mission bell and singing. This beautiful example, standing 7 inches tall, is carved by the young and very talented Emery Kyasyousie, gifted carver who, although carving since 1990 and enjoying a solid reputation as an artist, has appeared in shows no farther than Flagstaff, at the Museum of Northern Arizona’s Hopi Show. He much prefers a quieter life and shows his work almost exclusively in Hopi galleries on the mesas. That makes it all the more fortuitous to offer this ... morepiece to such a wide audience, here on Ebay. As can be seen from the photos, the carving is skilled and intricate, and the colors subtle and subdued. Every detail, no matter how minute is faithfully rendered. A search of the internet suggests that these carbs were frequently fitted to stationary engines and in particular to those manufactured by Bamford. Fowler and BSA. It appears that they were also used on some Riley, Singer, Austin 7& Swift pre-war cars. There is even mention of a Douglas motorcycle being fitted with one. The carb has one bolt missing from the float chamber top. There are also a couple of pock marks in the float chamber. 1913 Singer Hand Crank Sewing Machine Model 128k
This little Singer is a 3/4 size version of a Model 66. The small size and lighter weight makes this estate find rare and much sought after. Serial# F3798101 indicates its a 1913 model. Note that the storage compartment on the base is missing a bolt. Otherwise this machine is in very good shape and complete. I honestly don't know much about sewing but this unit's moving parts appear to be in working order. It also comes with a case with key per the photos. But the lock mechanism isn't working. The frame on each side is 18.5" wide at the bottom and 12" wide at top. There is an open screw hole at the top of each leg to attach a table top. The treadle works. And the wheel turns. Here we have a beautiful 1910 singer treadle sewing machine with a rare black walnut case- The case is in wonderful condition and the treadle works great. The machine is missing the belt but everything works correctly and seems to have been really well taken care of. Doesn't get much better than this! The item is available for local pick up as always but I've also looked into some shipping options. I've listed the calculated shipping price as one large package which I've been quoted by fed ex at $186.46 and ups at around $200 from New Jersey to California. This is an Antique/Vintage Singer Sewing Machine Key. Singer part number 124428. It fits Singer bent wood cases and some cabinet drawers. Make sure to look inside your lock first and see if you have the proper key hole. Singer also used square and flat keys. This key will NOT work on square and flat key locks. I have also pictured a lock that accepts this style key. Please note it is pictured in the locked position. The key cannot be removed when it is unlocked. It has blemishes on both sides. Antique Singer Sewing Machine Base Oak Table Top Steampunk Computer Upcycle Desk
It's at my warehouse and I forgot to measure it. But it's roughly 5' x 18" and the same height as a sewing machine. New paint to make it sparkle. Used butcher block table top that won't warp and can take abuse. Peddle peddle works and moves the wheel. It has original metal wheels and hardware except one bolt on the side. This is a pickup only item as cast iron breaks easily and as we know shippers don't give a dam.I can do local delivery for free within 15 minutes of Providence Rhode Island, just outside of that there is a charge.
