This is an A1 RF Amplifier/ LPF(low pass filter) module as obtained with a grouping of Racal spare parts. This A08076 module was standard issue with the RA1792 and no doubt came from that unit at some point in time. The prior owner had obtained it with the intention of installing it in his RA6790/GM receiver(can also be installed in the RA6793) Such an installation offers nice advantages as it will boost the RF gain in the 6790/GM by about 7- 10 dB. If you have a nice 6790/GM and enjoy good sensitivity. This is your chance to"super-charge" the receiver's performance and make it"hot" I am not familiar with what is fully required for the installation. But it may be somewhat involved if your receiver does not have the proper input hole on the rear panel necessitating drilling the panel for attachment. With the many stages, it should produce in excess of 200 watts with probably a few hundred milliwatts input. Regardless. The test set-up for the plot includes 30 dB of attenuation. So the plot is showing approx 22.5 dB gain across the band, which is a little low compared to the specification. I've double checked the test set-up, and the results seem to be correct. I can carry out other tests if required, just contact me via eBay. SMA connectors.
