AEMC SL201 AC/DC Current Probe
For your consideration is a used and functional AEMC SL201 AC/DC current probe. This probe is nearly identical to the Fluke 80i-110S probe except that it reads current to 150A versus 100A for the Fluke and it has banana connectors rather than a BNC connector. Brand new Flukes by the way are priced at over $700! I have functionally checked this probe with AC and DC current inputs ranging from 100mA through 100A and it functioned correctly with output readings within the manufacturer's specifications for both current input ranges. The only caveat I can add is that normally the DC zero adjust is made by turning the plastic cap that covers the zero adjust potentiometer. For this probe. You must remove the plastic cap and perform the zero adjust with a small screwdriver, somewhat of an inconvenience but does not affect the workability of the ... moreprobe. Tektronix AM503 Current Probe Amplifier installed in the convenient TM 501 power module. We've used this unit in our lab and it is working great. We've tested it with both DC and AC sources and the calibration appears to be spot on. See the attached photo of the amplifier measuring a 1 MHz sine wave. The AM 503 is a plug-in modular current-probe amplifier. It allows display of current on any oscilloscope with 10 mV/div sensitivity. And(for performance to full specifications) at least 100 MHz bandpass(see our excellent oscilloscopes in other ebay sales) The amplifier attenuator is calibrated in 12 steps with a 1, 2, 5 sequence, and the knob-skirt is illuminated to indicate current per division. The current range, maximum current rating, and bandwidth are determined by the particular probe in use. Bandwidth can be set to FULL(where ... moreit is limited by the probe in use) or to 5 MHz. Coupling may be switch selected to ac or dc. Ac coupling offers a convenient means of measuring low-amplitude ac signals on a high-level dc current. A front-panel indicator warns of input current overload. When a A6302 or P6302 Current Probe is used with the AM 503 Current-Probe Amplifier, the current range is from 1 mA/div to 5 A/div. This listing is for a TEKTRONIX TYPE 131 OSCILLOSCOPE CURRENT PROBE. AMP, AC ADAPTOR. While this is a pretty old piece of equipment. It is operable with virtually any oscilloscope, new or old. It does not draw power from the oscilloscope as it has its own power source. It senses the magnetic field around a wire carrying current and converts that magnetic signal into a voltage that any scope can measure. This is in very good condition. It is sold guaranteed working.
