Here is a 2-octave MIDI controller from M-Audio(previously Midiman) the Oxygen 8. This unit has some broken knobs! I bought this unit used in 2002. The year it was released. It worked fine for several years, and everything did exactly as it should. But one day the knobs would not turn, and one of them cracked off! Eventually, while trying to determine what was wrong, a couple more cracked off. Unfortunately one of the knobs is now missing. Currently, only 2 of the remaining knobs will turn and send MIDI data. The other remaining knobs are frozen in place(for whatever reason? Beyond that, the unit should work fine. The low starting price reflects the state of the unit. But maybe someone out there knows how to replace the knobs easily(or just does not care about that function of the controller) This auction includes the Oxygen 8 controller ... morekeyboard. 2 broken knobs, power cable, and manual(which looks to be just a print-out of the original manual, but this is what I got when it was purchased) The auction does NOT include the stand. But if you are interested in that, it is available for sale as well(with additional shipping costs) It is a very basic, custom-made, wood stand with metal brackets. It was made specifically to hold the Oxygen 8. One leg was not cut evenly so it wobbles a bit. Here is a great collector's piece! Skylab 1 was AMERICA'S FIRST orbiting laboratory launched May 14th. 1973 and it came crashing back to earth on July 11, 1979. Skylab 1 spent about 6 years in space(1973-1979) and was home for 9 astronauts while in orbit. It flew at 17,500 mph which is 420,000 miles a day, 153 million miles a year! A part of it fell in the Australian outback on a ranch and was recovered and made into this very cool lucite dome souvenir. The solid lucite dome has in it a fragment of the charred Skylab 1 oxygen tank that was recovered after Skylab 1 burned up upon reentry and crashed onto Australia. It also has 3 pictures with descriptions including a copy of the certificate of authenticity document from NASA authenticating the debris. T hese Lucite Skylab displays were originally offered In Aviation& Space Week ... morein the early 1980s. Fragment measures approximately 2 inches in diameter. We have up for auction a used Gentex HGU-55P Flight Helmet/ Size Large with tinted visor and MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask. Items are from a named US Air Force officer. Who was a Communications on Air Force One. His name is marked on the back. Helmet comes with a TPL bubble liner, earphones& communications wiring which have been moved to the right side. Original paint shows nicks and scratches from use(see photos) Leather edgeroll is still soft with marks and scuffs consistent with use, but no rips or tears. Includes Gentex MBU-12/P Oxygen Mask/ Size Regular/ Dated 86/87/88 with"J" bayonets. Coiled comm cord and CRU-60 regulator connector. Meant for display purposes and not flight certified.
