Selling a Vintage Heathkit Cathode Ray Tube Checker Model CC-1. As you can see from the first picture the tester does turn on and appear to work. I have not been able to properly test it because I do not have any tubes. It does appear to have all its connectors however no manual included. Item is sold as is. I originally bought this because I thought it was a neat vintage piece from the 50's. I've joyed and now its time to part with it. I will ship anywhere in the United States only. Nice Vintage Heathkit IT-12 Signal Tracer Radio Audio Ham w/Probe & Manual Works
SquareTrade © AP6.0 This is a very nice Heathkit Model IT-12 Visual-Aural Signal Tracer. The unit comes with a copy of the assembly and operation manual and schematic. Heathkit had permanently attach the probe to this model Signal Tracer.no hunting for probes! A slide switch on the probe switches from audio circuits to demodulating rf signals. The unit uses both the sound from the speaker and also a"magic eye" tube for visual indication. The eye tube is strong and works properly. See photo#8. All the electrolytics were replaced with new caps and any resistors out of tolerance were also changed. Both tubes test"good" You'll notice when turning the unit"on" some low level hum. This is due to the high sensitivity of the tester and the fact that the input grid is at the probe tip and it'll pick up spurious ... moreac fields. You can move the probe around and hear a change in the hum and touching the tip end causes a louder hum. Once you start exploring a circuit and place the probe on a audio or rf point the hum disappears. This unit works fine and is an great aid in troubleshooting problems in vintage radios. Amplifiers and TVs. It's a must on the service bench. The concept and practice of signal tracing is simple and explained in a few pages in the manual. All the knobs are original and all function properly. The Model IT-12 is the successor of Heathkit's Model T-4. The only difference is that the IT-12 has fancier knobs. Circuit is exactly the same but this kit came out about 4 years after the very successful T-4. If you repair vintage equipment of collect vintage test equipment you should consider this Signal Tracer. You won't find one as clean and as nice as this one. Also. Disconnecting the probe line and adding a phono jack w/ matching impedance resistor will turn this into a great little amplifier for the guitar enthusiasts. For sale is a very nice Heathkit Capacitor Checker. Model IT-28 with a printed copy of the manual or instructions. It does have some minor scratches and dent on the bottom vents. See photos. I went through some of the testing and calibration procedures. It seems to work as intended. Green eye opens and closes properly. I have only tested what I was able to. I am not a electronics expert. This unit can dial in any resistance from 1 to 99.999 Ohms in increments of 1 Ohm. This is the old"Red Letter" series which was manufactured using ceramic wafer switches with silver plated contacts and 0.5% resistors. There were four cooked resistors and those were replaced with resistors measuring within the original tolerance of 0.5% All other resistors were checked and were all within tolerance. Well not sure what model or maker this CB radio is so take a good look at the pictures and you CB ers or Hammers out there at first glace will know. Powered the radio up slowly and it powered up great all lights lite and all tubes were tested and all are good strong tubes with the exception of the 0A2 tube was bad.I thought i had one laying around but didnt so there will be no 0A2 tube in the unit.The tube list is as follows/ 1-5881/1- relay tube/1-6AQ8/ 1-0A2/ 3-6AN8/ 1-6AU8/ 1-12AT7/ 2-6BA6/ 2-6AL5/ 1- 12AU7, A total of 14 Tubes. You will be bidding on a vintage 1954 Heathkit Oscillscope. I do not know much about these. Except that this model was introduced in Aug 1954 and made in Benton Harbor, Mich USA. When this one is plugged in the green light does come on, and it will change with the turns of the knobs. It works on both settings in the back- the internal and the external. The case does have a few scuffs and scratches, also a light layer of dust. All the knobs are in place, except for the lower left hand red one, which I have replaced with a electrical cap. Vintage HEATHKIT RED DIGITAL RETRO ALARM CLOCK with Stand Manual GC-1092A TESTED
This is a Heathkit GC-1092A Clock. This is tested. Hour counter works, minute counter works, alarm works(not very loud) keeps time, and the time setter works! The only thing that doesn't work is the second counter and there is a faint light flicker in the background. But no worries! The assembly manual is included! The manual is used and has some writing in it. Also a page with the manual changes is included. It appears all pages/diagrams are there. A custom made battery backup is also included which plugs into the headphone jack. To my knowledge it works. I tested it and it keeps the time once the clock is unplugged and plugged back in the time was correct. This is used with minor wear. But is a nice classic space age clock, specially if you have electrical knowledge.

Vintage HEATHKIT Model GC-1005 digital alarm clock (NIXIE/NEON style) Panaplex
The GC-1005 was the first in a series of line-powered Panaplex display clocks from Heathkit. Introduced in 1973.Time is kept from a Mostek MK5017 PAA integrated circuit. The 5017 had several variants(MK5017AA, MK5017P and MK5017A) but was always a 24-pin dual-inline package(DIP) It was Heathkit part number 443-601.The clock uses three Sperry(Beckman) SP-352 two-digit Panaplex gas d ischarge displays. The displays were designed to fit in matching sockets. The CS-352. Although not used by the GC-1005, Dionics made chips like the DI-770(DI-770N) and DI-297(DI-297N) that could drive these Panaplex displays.These clocks are now three decades old, and one common problem that seems to appear is a"flicker" in the display, especially when the'1' digit is displayed. My clock has a very mild flicker in the last digit at times, but ... morevery stable most of the time. Replacing old SP-352 displays with new ones seems to fix the problem, however some additional information appeared in the Heath 1973 Technical Exchange Bulletin. The above mentioned is useful information I've found out about this clock. As far as cosmetics. It appears as though the kit builder most likely touched the bottom part of the case with a soldering iron(see my pictures) Also, the little rubber"feet" are all missing. Other than that, the clock is in very nice overall condition! I have tested the clock. And it keeps good time. Due to it's age though, I have to list it As-Is.

Vintage Heathkit Tube Tester Model IT-21, very good condition, fully functional
Up for auction is a Heathkit Tube Tester Model IT-21. This tube tester is in excellent cosmetic condition. There are minor scuff and scrapes on it. But nothing out of the ordinary for a vintage piece such as this. There is a knob missing on the lower right side and on the bottom of the unit the caps on the A& L levers are also missing. It is missing two foot pads on the left side and also on the back side it is missing one foot pad on the top left side on the back of the tester. Other than those few flaws, this is a very clean unit that has been tested and all knobs and switches and plugs& plug-ins appear to function properly. I was not able to test every bulb socket because I did not have all the sizes, I did have 7 different bulbs a few different sizes and each worked so I assume all the other sockets do too. Very clean Heathkit Model IT-5235 Yoke and Flyback Tester. Been stored in original box with manual(both in fair condition) Front panel is very clean. Along with the sides, rear, and bottom of the cabinet. The top does have a few scratches but not bad enough to show the metal through the paint, please take a close look at the pictures. Has a storage compartment in the rear to store test leads(included) and the power cord. This meter will read up to 40kV if you have the optional HV probe model IMA-100-10 but I would suggest using an Heath IM-5210 HV meter instead. Vintage Heathkit Portable Transistor radio with carrying handle. Faux leather case. Model# GA-151A. Serial#732 9704. I believe from the 60's. Works great. Sound is loud and clear. Measures 7 3/4" wide. 6" high& approx. 2 3/4" deep. I am not familiar with the inner workings of this type of thing. Other than the fact I know it works! The case is scuffed a bit and definitely needs cleaned. The back flap edges are turned a bit and it doesn't stay shut. I think this should be a relatively easy fix. A great piece of nostalgia! Vintage Tube Mono Integrated Amplifier by Heathkit #A-7...Complete...Look...NR!
Hi Everyone! This auction is for a vintage Heathkit tube mono integrated amplifier in complete shape model"A-7" The amplifier is complete with all tubes. Not sure what tubes are used as the numbers are worn off but the output tubes I think are 12V6s. There is no real damage just some corrosion on the chassis throughout and some paint wear and paint chips throughout. The output transformer may be a replacement and the top can capacitor is slightly loose some, the unit measures in size 11"1/2 long by 6"1/2 deep. The amplifier powers up but I have not tested it out more so it is being sold"as-is" untested and more likely will need capacitors to make it reliable. Nice amplifier for restoration for hifi or guitar use! Please view all photos to see its condition and ask all questions before bidding.
