This rare Air King was made in 1936 as shown on its included instruction tag! 3 tubes provide RF amplification and drive the interesting horseshoe magnet high impedence speaker with decent volume and sound quality. It does not sound as good as an electrodynamic. But I believe for cost and weight considerations it was used. Radio looks portable and is, but without the batteries. You could easily move it from room to room and just well.plug it in. Radio jas been recapped and all resistors changed. Tubes all check good; bad ones were replaced. Speaker driver pin was aligned and the horseshoe magnet was repainted. It's still quite strong. Radio is surprisingly sensitive as well. New wiring and antenna hank and cord. Ballast tube was bad and replaced with resistors-but guess what? I'm a stickler for original and it has since been brought ... moreback to that originality that it once had. Radio is clean, but shows some wear on the case and the dial, which by the way, lights up green when powered up. Please view the photos carefully-this is a rare and interesting radio. Vintage Simpson 392 AC/DC VOLT-WATTMETER: This Vintage circa 1950’s AC/DC VOLT-WATTMETER is used and in excellent physical and working condition. It has come from an estate of similar era meters and test equipment(see our other eBay items) The AC/DC Volt- VOLTS-METER has a dual wattage range of 0-1000 and 0-5000 AC/DC watts and a dual voltage range of 0-130 and 0-260 AC/DC volts. It features two switches one for watts and one for volts to change the scales. This meter has the owner’s name scratched into one side and otherwise it is in exceptional condition. This meter comes in its original fitted box which has a tear and a worn corner on the front top edge. The rubber leads attached to the meter are in excellent condition and the clasp and handle on the box are in very good condition. Hello and thanks for looking. Thermal Arc 185 TSW tig welding unit. Welder is used but works fine. This is an excellent all-round tig welder with AC. DC, HF, Pulse etc and tons of adjustable parameters. I bought this used a couple years ago to do a few projects and I don't need it any more. Comes with the 17v torch, ground lead, Flame Tech gas regulator/flow meter, Varior brand foot pedal(a quality US-made welding pedal) box of spare fittings for the torch, a few 1/16 and 3/32 tungstens, and a users manual. For local buyers I will include the cart and 80CF Argon bottle(75% full) and a pack each of alumium and steel filler metal, but I am not including these items for shipping. It would just be too expensive. The only negatives are that the clear cover that goes over the adjustments is missing, and the shipping service(UPS) set it down ... moreacross an edge somewhere along the way and cracked the bottom of the left housing(see the last picture) I removed the housings and inspected the circuit boards and everthing is ok and the welder works as it should.
