I had just put in an order for a couple of those Allen discounted flyreels which are based in Texas. I started to think about the price and how can they sell a nice looking machined reel for less then a Galvan OB – 4 spool that I need badly.
I should have called first, they are made in China and I as a small business owner, I’m willing to spend more for an American product and to keep America working. I am upset with myself, I should have known, MY BAD!

Thanks for taking the time post about this. The offshore thing is touchier for some than others, and it’s often hard to draw lines, but it’s always easier to make decisions when you’re informed.
