Happy Mother's Day (After A Happy Fishing Day)

Muscles were strained, dehydration was experienced, and yes, trout were caught -- all after the stream we wanted to fish remained just out of reach, courtesy a couple snow drifts.

More after I discharge my Mom Day duties (Little M and I are taking a recon trip up a canyon and leaving the L&&T [my Lovely && Talented to newer readers] to her massage).

Seriously, honestly, sincerely: it was the most exciting end to a season ever - pure theater. Thank goodness Liverpool weren't at the races; my ticker couldn't take it. Tom Chandler: Amazing how a whole season can come down to four minutes of added time. If you wrote it that way in a screenplay, you’d be laughed out of the meeting.
