What a coincidence, just watched again (for the severalth time) GRUMPY OLD MEN and GRUMPIER OLD MEN. I’m referring of course to old Burgess Meredeth dying on the old couch while fishing.
Mmmm, Ann-Margret and Sophia sure looked good there back in 1993 and 1995; I don’t believe I’ve seen anything about either of them since then, sure hope the intervening years have treated them kindly.

Unfortunately your postcard has some validity. Having grown up on a Steelhead stream, I have seen the overrun of human activity and poor regs. take its toll on this valuable and delicate resource. There is hope, the Rouge River has had two fish killing damns removed and the stream is on the mend. Now what we need is some really good regs. to back it up. Get rid of the bait and the fish killers. Make it a no-kill fishery and they would really have something. tw
