Yeah, that’s snow covering the Eddies (the view out the TU World Headquarters window), and the back porch was iced up like a rink this AM.

What happened while I was sleeping...
There’s still some nice weather ahead for us, but this is a good illustration why the Patagonia Nano Puff jacket has become one of the Ted Fay Fly Shop’s best sellers.
Fly fishermen come up from the considerably warmer parts of California, encounter stuff like this (even in spring or early fall), and want the warmest, lightest, most packable jacket they can get.
Ka-ching.

Hi, Tom!
Thanks for the great photo of snow, it reminds me of when we lived just outside of Mineral, California, where I grew up and had the chance to work at Lassen Volcanic NP before moving to Yosemite NP and now to Rocky Mountain NP. We are waiting for the snow from your storm to hit here on the east slope this Friday. It’s great to check out your site every now and again to see what’s going on in Northern California, which I miss!

Looks like a cover story to me. I guess the BWOs are hatching now ;-)
