We can’t really keep up with all the fly fishing ezines, but I can say that two new editions just released.
Catch Magazine – O’Keefe’s photo-oriented ezine – is up to issue 15
Sleeping in the Dirt (SID) launches their “Rich” issue (homage to Rich Schaaff), which is now seemingly considering advertising and is looking for monetary support in the form of subscriptions.
Catch Magazine seems to have the technology down, but I still get slow loads with SID (and one browser crash). Let’s hope that gets better as time moves on.
See you on the river, Tom Chandler.

I hope everyone has read your great story in the Blood Knot E-zine, but it took painfully long to flip through the pages. I thought it was just our middling wireless DSL-like ISP, but given your last comment, maybe it just the nature of the E-zine.

Blood Knot has some specific issues, but I experience similar problems with the other ezines too.
The flipbook format has taken the fly fishing ezine world by storm, but I can’t help but think the negatives will outweigh the positives in the long run, especially since they seem to be running counter to so many online trends.
I’d love to see clickthrough data on the ads in the magazines, but then again, I wonder how my advertisers are bothering.
