Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy soccer. I watched more of the World Cup this year than ever before. However, I can’t stand athletes faking injuries constantly, and I can’t stand orchestrated celebration. I don’t mind a lot of team celebration after a score, much like in football. I just don’t like the “look at me” celebration, again much like in football. That’s just one of the things I love about baseball. There’s a level of respect, an unspoken code of sorts, that is accompanied by quick and severe retribution if you start getting bit too big of an ego. Besides, the way that fish was flopping around, it’s obvious he was using a barbed hook and the fish couldn’t spit it.
And don’t kid yourself, there’s plenty of PED’s in every sport. Even European ones.
