Finally achieved a kind of Harmonic Convergence; the nearby streams are finally fishable, Little M canceled her meetings, the trout were (presumably) not busy… so we took a hike… with a fly rod in hand.
To see the outdoors through a child's eyes...
Trout were caught, bushes were laughed at, fish were carefully touched, and an old fly rod found its way back into the sunlight.
Nap time’s almost over (wish I had a nap time), but there might be a longer report/essay/self-congratulatory post soon.
