Many, many small brown trout fell to our flashing fly rods on Tuesday.
Stream X? No. Stream Y.
See? Small streams can be hard work (let the pity flow, Undergrounders).
More coming soon, though I’m out of here at midday to talk to another film crew about the Official Sleazy Mega-Corporation of the Trout Underground: Nestle Waters of North America.
See you on TV, Tom Chandler.

I thought the Nestle plant was dead?

Nope. Nestle stepped out of the first contract, but is now trying to negotiate a second contract. And then there’s the rest of the country, where they’re up to their usual tricks.
Amusingly, they’re also now finally doing the flow studies that should have been done six years ago, but after being forced into it, they’re claiming the studies are proof of their deep and abiding concern for the watershed.

Keep fighting the fight, and I’ll watch for you on TV.
Also, those streams are beautiful. I guess I missed out on a lot a few years ago (pre-fly fishing) when I visited northern California. The ones here in the ADK’s have been treating me just fine, as of late, though.

Sorry to hear you had to fish that water. Get some rest, you deserve it.

What’s the new TV gig you are doing? Gotta set the DRV.

God dammit Tom. I’m currently stuck behind a desk rummaging through anti-virus logs when I thought I’d take a break and saw the above image. Hardly fair for one stuck in work to see such glory don’t you think? Would you mind not posting images from now please?
Seriously though Tom, fantastic shot that, and it captures the action perfectly! Truly mouth watering!
Good luck with the Nestle Fight too man, keep going!!

Not this time. French TV crew, and schedule issues mean I probably won’t make the report. Still, Nestle probably won’t be pleased.
How about I broadcast a live Webcam shot from inside my dungeon-like office? That would *have* to make you feel better.

Thanks Tom, I think that would be a start :)
Seriously though, great photos of late (as always)! Hope the interview went well.
