   Thanks for the heads-up on the Trout Unlimited sale. I’ve been looking for that older style Patagucci vest in my size for a while without much luck. They had it for a reasonable price, and I feel good knowing some of the money goes to a great organization.

   TC: Paid advertisments now eh? Hopefully you’ll remember us loyal readers when you cash in on the next market upswing and can finally afford that private water you’ve been coveting. I’ll volunteer as rod caddy….
   Hope it helps pay the way, I’d hate to see this TU go the way of Bear Stearns.
   BTW: how far is Tulelake, CA from good trout fishing (I am idly thinking of putting in for a job there. ) Good luck on the next phase of TU, I feel better having been approved for the e-mail newsletter – I was a little worried about making the cut.

   @Taku: Remember the little people? Hell, I’ve already forgotten your name, and I’m only halfway through my second sentence. As for Tulelake, a lot depends on how you define “good” trout fishing. It’s typically not as good around here as it is in Montana, though if you’re a duck hunter, you could do a lot worse than Tulelake.

   [Name Redacted] would be able to provide a lot of background to you on this particular subject.

   @MHH: I’m sure I’ll look like a million bucks, which – let’s face it – doesn’t mean what it used to.
