I’d like to know when people are going to understand fly fishing isn’t a competition. What an absolute bummer. How about we hold stream etiquette competitions?

@Greg: In one sense it *is* competition, though between fisherman and fish. The part about people competing is probably news to the trout.

Tom, I guess that’s true in a sense. I always give trout a “good game” high fin and a pat on the adipose upon release. I’m pretty sure they don’t appreciate the experience as much as I do.
