The prohibitions against shooting at roadside would hopefully preclude that, but yeah, now that you mention it, I hope the widllife planners took the whole funneling effect into account. Othersie, those mulies would be faced with a tough choice: bullets or bumpers.

Also, No self-respecting Southern outdoorsman would ever eat a slaw dog without a little chili and jalapenos – you need ‘em to complete the 7 course meal (along with the dog, bread, onions, mustard, and slaw).

@Fish: The jalapenos are new to me, but the rest of the fixins are clearly at the core of the Slaw Dog Experience. Perhaps a little cheese too.

Reading about slaw dogs in Minnesota (seems like an oxymoron to me) reminded me of the fact that I’ve been to that restaruant in Grand Marais…hmmm…just short of 33 years ago, on my way to the boundary waters canoe area. The waitresses were quite lovely, but if the same ones still work there, I don’t think they still are. Just my opinion, mind you.
I don’t recall slaw dogs being on the menu then, but maybe I was distracted.
