I’ll be damned if I know exactly what’s happening (I read streams far better than I read foreign languages), but Frequent Underground Commentor Eduardo sent us news of what looks like an Argentine fisheries disaster in the making:
A very sad news from Argentina, in the Province of Santiago del Estero close the gate of a dam, from 30 m3 per second they started to release 4 m3 per second. That action dried out the “RÃo Dulce†in hours killing all the legendary “DORADOS†of el Dulce.
Are all these dead due to a planned dewatering of the Rio Dulce in Argentina?
The bi-lingual among the Undergrounders might find more explanation at this site, and anyone with more to add are welcome to in the comments.

Fortunately the people from Santiago del Estero avoid the catastrophe, and now i recive news from the North of Argentina that the river is getting more water, not the normal but a little more than 4 m3 per second.
