Fishweather: Realtime Weather Updates for Those Looking For Reasons NOT to go Fly Fishing

by Tom Chandler on August 7, 2008

From the Underground’s Director of Saltwater Fly Fishing and Finding Online, Weather-Driven Excuses Not to Go Fly Fishing (Troyer) comes news of the FishWeather.com site.

A map-driven weather site that seems to be aimed at marine users (they’re big on wind), you can also use it to receive realtime weather information from stations across the state.

The Fishweather site
Fishweather; aimed at marine users, but lots for onshore types too

It’s yet another way the Underground makes your Fly Fishing Experience a Quality One.

See you online, Tom Chandler.

Well, if you’re into marine fishing with a fly rod, try this:

150 Mako on a fly rod! Wow! Don’t really know if it’s my cup of tea, but Wow! I’ve fished with the guy that caught that shark, and he’s a wizard with trout.

Regards,
KJ

I get pretty seasick pretty quick, so I haven’t been much into marine fishing. Besides, trout aren’t likely to bite your hand off.

The best days are the ones where it rains just enough to keep the yuppies away…
