Outfit that baby with bamboo rotor blades, a scaled-down action figure of Theodore Gordon in the cockpit, and a hand-cranked, Gilligan’s Island-style radio control unit, and even purists would be lining up to give it a go.

See you in the wild blue, Tom Chandler.

Far be it from the environmentally correct Underground to point out the huge difference in the carbon footprint between the two activities - much less the somewhat lessened chance of getting eaten by a shark in the farm pond.

Still, what are the chances the saltwater video is faked?

A good chance it is. But I’ll find someone who will donate offsets if I can have the video rights and some royalties on the “Underground Heli-Team” t-shirts.

“No, we didn’t go in; we admired this Butte Anaconda, MT bar from a distance.”

I bet that distance was measured in something less than a yard.

Otherwise, I’d say you lie like a rug. Through both teeth. Fishing guys, passing up a bar? Sheesh. Next you’ll be selling real estate…
