While performing a little housekeeping on the Trout Underground, I noticed I’d written and posted exactly 1199 articles, a number which simultaneously makes me swell with pride and wonder what the hell I’m doing.
First, that makes this the Trout Underground’s 1200th post.
Woo-hoo.
(It’s an odd number, but I was apparently drunk or distracted when #1000 came and went.)
On the heels of that raucous celebration, I have to admit it: I don’t what the hell comes next.
It’s gratifying to see the Trout Underground pretty much at the top rung of fly fishing’s blogs, but always lurking behind the curtain are all the pieces I’m not getting written (something to do with a job, a wife, a life, and a little fishing). And yes, a few other things I’m not getting done.
I hope you’ve enjoyed what’s come and what’s about to come (which could include a survey, another industry piece, a piece on the Klamath, and fishing reports from my two-week Montana tripTechnorati Tags: fly fishing, trout underground, starting in about a week).
See you on the river, Tom Chandler

A hundred dozen. Pat yourself on the back. How many times have you been fishing in 1200 articles?
I’ll be up to your place next week to see 1212 written. History in the making…
