The Big Picture: Wildfires Sweep Across California

I stumbled across an interesting online site called The Big Picture — a site that aggregates photographs from news stories, then runs them big.
This time they’re taking aim at the wildfires that have swept across California, including several only a few hours away. Here’s a small sample; a photograph taken of the fire burning in the hills above Chico:
