The Korean War Veterans Monument (Weed, CA)
By Tom Chandler on May 26, 2008 in Opinion
On Highway 97 — a few miles outside of Weed, CA (just past the A12 junction) — you’ll find the Living Memorial Sculpture Garden — dedicated to the men and women of the USA’s armed forces.
On this weekend, spare a thought for those who have fought our wars, and for those who are still fighting them.

Tom,
Thank you for sharing the picture. It will never be forgotten. Thanks to high water I didn’t have a trip yesterday and Linda and I went to the Memorial Day service at the National Veterans Cemetery in Eagle Point. I will never book a trip on that day again. It was awsome. On a light note,as all the military officers made there speech’s every thing was quiet. As soon as the state Senator started his talk the jet fly over came down low. All he could say was I guess you that served have heard enough of politician’s.
