The Underground’s crack team of online slackers investigators have uncovered stunning proof that technology actually will make the world a better place (someday): It’s the Solar Power Generating Parasol.
See, this baby utilizes thin film solar technology, so you could use it to both shade yourself and deliver power to the gadgets you’re supposed to be escaping.
Imagine — you could be out in the "wild" without ever having to experience those unpleasant side effects (like heat, cold, sun, disconnection from technology, etc).
You could even annoy everybody else on the river by powering your iPod and singing Barry Manilow’s Greatest Hits (badly) while you’re wearing headphones.
Frankly, the possibilities are endless, though we’re waiting for the hat version.
