Underground Network Writer Singlebarbed snuck up to a nearby lake for some winter-based cabin fever therapy, but ended up hugging the ground while bullets whizzed by overhead.
Probably not the kind of prone relaxation he had in mind, and it’s the kind of thing that happened to me a couple times while fishing the California Delta for bass. I can say with some authority it’s damned little fun.
He emerged unscathed (he said nothing about a change of underwear and we didn’t ask), and we’re pretty pleased with that.
I told him if he played his cards right there was at least a Movie of the Week in this for him, though I fear he lacks the "Hollywood gene" and won’t do it. Damn. Be nice to know a celebrity.
