Facing the prospect of 12″ of snow about to be dumped on my not so thankful head, pictures like this remind me that there is a use for all that white stuff. I have similar pics from Sunday’s snowfall and my pup.
Usually a snow in the Chicago area just means its gonna take me 2 hours to get home, so its nice to remember that it can bring some enjoyment.
That’s actually a photo of the main road to Tom’s house. His highly-trained Lab is digging down to the mailbox to fetch the constant-flow residual checks mailed to Tom.
Yea! Wally makes another appearance. After wading through pages of winter-cabin fever grousing, finally the wonderdog shows us what life is supposed to be about.
Not that all of us have forgotten, but, truth to tell, I have been letting work get in the way of my fishing lately. I think, TC, that you are too environmentally conscious to leave a portion of a slaw dog on the side of the road, so my vote is for the idea that Wally is retreaving those numerous residual/commission checks that allow you to go to exotic places like east Tennessee.
