The Fly Fishing in Yellowstone blog found a cool tool for checking the snowpack of your local watershed — or that remote location for next summer’s “I’m not telling anyone where I’m fishing” backpack trip.
You can even overlay the snow data on Google earth maps, and do a lot of other stuff that — because my few remaining hairs are blond — I don’t really understand.
But that’s OK — it’s all explained for you at Fly Fishing In Yellowstone National Park: Google Your Water Supply
Tell ‘em the Underground sent you.
See you on Google Maps, Tom Chandler.
