Clearly, fate smiled broadly on the mysterious truckeetom — the winner of what the New York Times called the “most desirable canoe-themed hat ever given away on a fly fishing blog.”**

Interestingly, truckeetom’s message also promised to cover the TU’s butt by covering the head of the TU’s dad:

If I am chosen for the vanity of the hat , I will personally donate one of my many favorite fishing ball caps to Mr Chandler Sr. Ha, take that!

It’s not as if we’re going to enforce his promise, but we will drop the parental units’ address in the outgoing box and see what happens.
