Tired of Maintaining Your Drift Boat? Try an Inflatable Doll

Drift boat too expensive? Too much work? Via that always-zany crew at the GoBlog comes news of the Russian Bubba Games — where 400 or so Russians floated down the Vuoksa River on inflatable dolls.
Notice the PFDs. When you’re talking inflatable dolls, it’s always Safety First.
We’re probably just spitballing ideas here, but a certain segment of the fly fishing world (the part that benefits from gear sales) has been hankering for a competition that would put fly fishing on the map alongside Bassmasters and NASCAR, and this seems like just that kind of competition.
After all, what could be better TV than flimsy, socially unacceptable inflatable devices combined with razor-sharp hooks and overweight, balding fly fishers wearing rubber pants? Hilarity would surely ensue.
The network news crews would be fighting each other for a chance to cover this fishing tournament. Fighting.
