Fishies Are Hot… as Exfoliants
By Tom Chandler on Aug 23, 2007 in Underground Entertainment
A River Runs Through It made fly fishing a hot property among the disposable income crowd. Now it’s the fish themselves that are in demand — but as miniature skin care workers:

From Mark at the Blogfish Ocean blog comes this story about the use of tiny fish in spas, where apparently, the fish munch the dead skin cells off your body, a process normally handled by chemicals or abrasives.
Sure, it seems kinda gross — and let’s hope the fish practice Catch & Release of humans — but it’s yet one more excuse for posting a picture of a bikini model on the Trout Underground (oh, to be a tiny fish). Frankly, I’d love to see them try the same thing with pirhana, but that’s more a movie script than a day spa business plan…
See you at the spa, Tom Chandler.
