Beer Karma Saves Underground’s Life

Clearly, it took more than simple pharmaceuticals for me to survive my recent Brush With the Death Flu. Sure, I thought plenty of rest and enough drugs to cure a whole herd of Cape Buffalo would be enough, but it turns out I also had help on the spiritual front:

When our good buddy, TC, over at The Trout Underground was knocked down with the “I went flyfishing in Maine instead of working” flu we knew we had to help. Problem was, we were off to the Outdoor Retailer Summer Market to show our stuff. After talking with some very knowledgable friends, we came to the conclusion that if we wished good karma on TC, reread “The Secret” and had a couple of beers at the show, he would get better. Wow!!! After doing only one of the three recommendations, we returned to Mt. Shasta to find him well again. I can only say that beer karma really works…

I just knew that someone up there was pulling for me. Thank god for the folks at Ecowood (the Official Retail Fixture Supplier to the Trout Underground*. They probably saved my life.

I’m a little confused. Wasn’t the miraculous cure from SLC enough? OK, what size shoe do you wear? The folks at HiTec did provide a little swag, and I’ll share.

Sure, an escape from the jaws of death is OK, but schwag… well, that’s important stuff…  (Quote)

It seem that your rapier like wit has emerged from the jaws of death unscathed…

I prefer to think of it as my propensity for naked greed…  (Quote)
