In a shocking example of just how bad this nation’s hallucinagenic drug problem has become, our favorite Southeastern Guide/Predator (that’s Ian Rutter) is going to be the subject of an upcoming Internet audio broadcast by the guys at AskAboutFlyFishing.
It’s going down this Wednesday evening (6 pm PST/9 pm EST), and I think we should all tune in, if only to hear Ian say really, really good things about my streamer fishing talents.
On the off chance that my considerable skill is not a subject of the interview, then it’s possible Ian will talk all about fishing the Southeast, a subject near and dear to my heart.
Amazingly, those foolish broadcasters at Askaboutfly fishing actually provided a link we can use to leave Ian questions to be asked during the interview. I’m going to log in right now and leave some kind of inane, annoying question for Ian, and I’m sure he’d appreciate it if you did too.
My question? It’s a two-parter. First, if he was trapped on an desert island in the middle of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, which one fly would he take? And second, when we will see the debut of Chasing Blue — his upcoming fly fishing for bluegills action/adventure epic movie?
Surely the Underground’s crack team of crazies, disturbed personalities and disaffected youth (in middle age) can come up with some truly killer questions. Feel free to post them below.

My questions would have been:
Ian…I saw your picture on Tom’s site.
1)Do you feel that having two heads, four arms, and twenty fingers are a help or hindrance in flyfishing?
2)Do you ever argue with yourself about which fly to use? How is this resolved? Paper, scissors, rock?
3)Do you double-double haul and,if so, do you think your fly approaches the speed of sound?
4)With that many fingers, how do you avoid getting a stray finger stuck in a knot when you tie on a fly?
and lastly…
5) why is one of your heads SO much prettier than the other?

The prettier head belongs to none other than Charity Rutter, the smarter, better-looking half of the Rutter fly fishing/guiding team.
Apparently she’s also murder on bonefish. Too bad guys — you’ll have to find your own.
