Moldy’s Oldies

I have no idea where Moldy keeps digging this stuff up, but this is a classic:
Visit Moldy’s post to see the whole picture for what might be mankind’s first attempt at a float tube, and we’re pretty clear on the concept behind the idea’s dying out.
Basically, no man who wore that getup would ever be chosen by a woman to reproduce. Thus, Natural Selection would have its way, and the dorky float tube gene would die out.
It reminds me of the venerable “Inflatable Canoe Skirt” post from a much earlier Underground post.
If you’ll recall, this concept was a non-starter too, given the dangers surrounding the inevitable question: “Honey, does this inflatable canoe skirt make my butt look big?”
No honey, it doesn’t.
