The Keyboard You Will Someday Own

Think your bamboo fly rod collection makes you better than the rest of us? Ha!
Thanks to the efforts of Alert Underground Reader Guyser (if that is his real name), we bring you the ultimate bamboo geek’s accessory:

That’s a genuine bamboo keyboard. Sure, my 13 year-old plastic IBM keyboard works just fine, but there’s something about typing on bamboo — you feel every word as it comes out of your fingers, and the rhythm of the sentences both soothes and excites.
I’m sure I’d write a lot better if I had one of these. A lot.

In a blow to rodbuilders everywhere, this hollowbuilt, handcrafted, node-staggered keyboard is only $83 — and it comes with keys! (Something you don’t get with that $3K bamboo fly rod).
I’m pretty sure we’re being ripped off. Undoubtedly, only a rare bamboo from an obscure corner of the world makes good keyboards…

Greetings,
Here’s a blond bamboo keyboard on eBay: http://tinyurl.com/yw559e. I’d like mine flamed.

Graham: Flamed, of course, would be best. The eBay link doesn’t seem to be working. Sadly, neither is the graphic on your Web site. It’s not a good Web day for you… 8-)
