Your Old Waders Worth 25% Off New Orvis Waders
By Tom Chandler on May 16, 2007 in Underground Entertainment
Orvis — one of the few fly fishing companies who realizes fly fishing blogs exist — sent along an e-mail touting their latest wader promotion.
Cut the label out of any pair of your old waders (I suppose you could cut the label out of your fishing buddy’s waders while he wasn’t looking, but you didn’t read that here), and Orvis will give you 25% off a new pair of their waders.
I don’t need a new pair, but we like to do what we can to keep the wheels of commerce turning.

Darn, they wanted the label? I cut the crotch out of my buddies waders instead.

Yeah, see, you need to read the whole post before acting in the future. And besides, common sense suggests nobody wants the crotch from anything — for any reason…

Going to take advantage of this and grab a new pair of pro guide breathables in exchange for the label from my $75 neoprene hodgman that leak anyway ;) they are doing this in store as well, and if you don’t have an old pair of waders to destroy, you can make a small donation of any amount for conservation and still get the 25% off.
