That last fish you caught have an odd, dreamy expression on its face?

From the Nashville Tennessean.com site:

Despite what people have been told for years, unused and expired prescription drugs should not be disposed of in the toilet, according to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

“Medications that are flushed down the toilet or thrown straight into the garbage can and do find their way into our nation’s waterways every day,” Sam D. Hamilton, Southeastern Regional Director, said in a statement released today.

The implications are monstrous. Will fly fishers start flushing Valium down the toilet to make spooky fish more susceptible to 5x tippet?

Will animal rights activists begin massive Prozac flushing programs to help “depressed” fish populations?

Because we’re selfless bastards, the Underground is going to stay on this story as it develops (or at least until lunch). No need to thank us.
