Ever hear an odd rumbling from upriver and experience a moment of paranoia that the dam has burst and your calm, uneventful day on the river is about to end?

Don’t you just hate it when something like that mucks up a perfectly good drift?  (Quote)

Australia — some place called Kellick Creek. Though it reminds me a lot of my long-ago Prom Night dinner, when I not-so-suavely ordered hot chocolate and then proceeded to knock it over on the date’s dress.

Fortunately, I fly fish better than I date.  (Quote)
