Is This The Worst (Non-Fly Fishing) Dance Video of All Time?

It’s a story of love. A Shy, Tender, Scandinavian Love (though it’s clearly nibbling around the edges of a lusty, sticky kind of love if you know what I mean).

It’s a Love So Special and Timeless that it must be commemorated with haunting ly bad ESL lyrics, overstyled chest hair, and dance moves so wooden, even dance-challenged political convention goers will flee the room in terror.

(We can’t believe this little gem was snubbed by the Academy.)

Comments are welcome, assuming you haven’t already gouged your eyes out…

Danny is now 20 years older, but the girls are about the same age as in this video. This is awesome stuff!!! Thanks Tom, it’s a proud day for us.

So, now, let’s see. This has just exactly what to do with trout fishing with tiny flies at the end of a large line that floats? That’s what this forum is about, right?

    But the skirt was good.

Jim: It was clearly marked “non fly fishing.” Just look away next time. A guy can’t fish 24 hours a day.

Opax: Yes, it is a proud day for… Finland? Was this shot in the early 80’s like I suspected? I first thought it was perhaps the only music video directed by Ed Wood…

WOW !!!!!!!!! I don’t know what else to say. I forgot how awful the late 70’s early 80’s were. But thank you Tom for digresing to my level. (It’s nice to have the company). Oh by the way, was that a Bamboo rod in the lead singers pocket?

This was a snippet from a recruitment video for Jerry’s restaurant … the opening segment (missing) describes the rewarding management careers available to rural teens fresh out of high school.

If memory serves, the lead singer was arrested on a morals charge shortly after it debuted at corporate.

“debuted” where is the %$$#@ spellchecker!

Based on the above mistake, I was the third dancer on the left, the well scrubbed one..

Holy cow. That was a scene out of Duluth, MN and I’m not kidding. This place is crawling with Finns and Lutefisk.
Do you ever catch any of those (the fish that is in Lutefisk) with your fancy rods, Tom?

  12. Tom Chandler | Mar 15, 2007 | Reply

    The horror…. the horror….

I have no idea what lutefisk is made from–a whitefish?

And for the record, when the Underground busts a move, the world stops to watch. In awe.

Hey Tom, you brought this on yourself. Now you must pay the piper, (althought I am not sure who the piper is). For youre sake I hope it’s not one of those male dancers. Youre wife may have an issue with that.
