"Single Male Looking for Companionship?" National Geographic Says "Head East."
By Tom Chandler on Feb 7, 2007 in Underground Entertainment
The Getoutdoors.com Outdoor Blog once again leads the way in useless-but-interesting information.
This post is about a recently released National Geographic map outlining the population as it skews towards more single men or women.
The areas that have more single men are marked in blue; those with more single women in orange.
It’s bad news for Western single guys, but hey, you moved out here for the trout anyway, eh?
If someone really wanted to provide a service to single men, they’d create a map that pinpointed single women who owned fly rods.
We’re just saying.
Once again, the Trout Underground invests its valuable time looking out for the well-being of its readers.

There is a really large orange dot around Maryville,CA - relax guys …it’s my Mother in Law.
She has a face like a plowed field, a voice like a tramp steamer, and wields a fry pan better’n most.
