Yeah, Portlanders suck in the snow. We don’t seem to understand the 3 rules of driving in the snow: 1) Don’t stop 2) Don’t stop on a hill 3) Change your driving route so you don’t have to stop or go on hills.

I saw this clip on Jay Leno. He said it was a demonstration of the new cars that use computers to parallel park themselves. Extremely funny in that context!

I’ve been to Ian’s house. Getting there involves inching the rental car over some of the steepest hills I’ve driven in a long, long time.
After the next ice storm hits Townsend, I’m calling Ian to make sure he’s strategically positioned - video camera in hand - to witness the carnage…
