The Cure for Cabin Fever: Underwater Trout and Salmon Photos
By Tom Chandler on Jan 13, 2007 in Photography
It’s winter, and after a couple weeks of all work and no play, even the Trout Underground is getting a little fidgety.
Tomorrow I fish. But today I point you towards a stellar photography site: The FishEyeGuy.
Jammed with stunning underwater pictures of rainbow, brook, cutthroat and brown trout, it’s worth more than a few minutes of your time.
We found this via the smorgasbord of stuff that is the A Step Apart blog, and wish all the way-below-zero residents of the Rocky Mountain West nothing more than a cup of hot chocolate, including Fly Fishing in Yellowstone, whose daily fishing posts from Yellowstone are sorely missed.
Take a gander at the fish photos. And let us know what you think (I’m impressed).

Some of them look like illustrations or paintings. Certainly helps develop an appreciation for clear water…

I have to agree with you on that…there is so much beauty to be seen under the surface. Yet another reason why I love this sport!
