23 Trapped in Tiny Cave by LARGE Woman | Metro.co.uk
By Tom Chandler on Jan 4, 2007 in Underground Entertainment
From the ever-enterprising (and always journalistically rigorous) Metro.co.uk Web site comes this cautionary tale:
Twenty-three people were trapped in a cave for nearly twelve hours on New Year’s Day, when a twenty-five-stone woman got stuck in a small cave known as the ‘Tunnel of Love’.
She was eventually freed in a complicated manouvre involving a pulley and some liquid paraffin lubricant.
“Sure” you say, “I don’t spend much time in caves.”
Maybe not. But if it can happen in a cave, it can happen on a small stream too.

OK, someone has to step up and do the math. 14 pounds times 25 equals…. good grief, she’s a sumo.

Yes, impressive indeed. I think the only bright spot for those trapped in the cave was the thought that if the woman died in place, they’d have plenty to eat (like the Uruguayan rugby team in the Andes) until rescue came.

Methinks not. While the physics were not mentioned - instinct suggests that they spent 12 hours staring at her ample posterior.
That panorama, is offputting to even hungry Uruguayans.

Point taken.
But that’s just me - I’m always looking for the silver lining.
Let’s just hope she wasn’t wearing a thong.
