The ongoing bikini wars are flaring up again, only this time those smut peddlers at Fly Fishing in Yellowstone have totally blown the rest of us out of the water with pictures of an extremely fit Slovakian woman who not only does things to a bikini that any y-chromosone would approve of, but also knows how to catch fish.

From a personal blog written in Vermont comes a post about a presentation by a behavioral ecologist, who explains some of the problems created when stocked trout are placed in wild environments. (As if we didn’t already know, but the parts about brown trout fighting and fat fish displacing wild fish make for very interesting reading.)

Finally, in my ongoing, all-consuming search for other fly fishing blogs, I stumbled across Musings of a Trout Bum, an interesting (and slightly angst-ridden) blog about a Salt Lake City fly fisher.

Though I’m deeply in the grips of my final “get out of town” fire drill, expect more to come. See you on the road, Tom Chandler.
